Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James and Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry are among the NBA All-Stars who will reportedly represent USA Basketball in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France.

USA Basketball is expected to formally announce 11 of the 12 roster players soon, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. The team will keep one roster spot open ahead of a training camp and exhibition games in July in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The team, led by managing director Grant Hill, unveiled a 41-player pool in January, out of which 12 would be chosen for the final roster. James and Curry were among the players considered to be locks to suit up for the Americans.

The U.S. qualified for the 2024 Olympic Games by finishing as one of the top two teams in the Americas region of the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup, despite failing to medal. The group, led by Anthony Edwards, Austin Reaves and Mikal Bridges, finished fourth.

USA Basketball was selected to compete in Group C. The Americans, who will be coached by Steve Kerr, Erik Spoelstra, Tyronn Lue and Mark Few, will open on July 28 against Serbia and will then face South Sudan on July 31 and a team still to earn a berth on Aug. 3.
