Hailey Van Lith and Mikaylah Williams are among the 17 players invited to participate in the women’s USA Basketball 3×3 training camp.

From the camp, which begins Wednesday in Springfield, Massachusetts, a committee of evaluators will select players for future national teams, including the four-player squad that will represent the U.S. at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Both Van Lith and Williams have extensive international experience.

In 2023, Van Lith helped Team USA win the FIBA 3×3 women’s World Cup. From her time playing both 3×3 and 5-on-5, she has collected five gold medals.

Williams, the Bossier City product, is a three-time gold medalist and MVP at the FIBA 3×3 U18 level. She also played for the Team USA 5-on-5 U17 team that won gold at the 2022 FIBA World Cup.

Van Lith played one season on the LSU women’s basketball team before deciding to reenter the NCAA transfer portal in search of a place to play her fifth season of college basketball. For the Tigers, she started 33 games and averaged 11.6 points per game.

Williams was named the Southeastern Conference freshman of the year after scoring 14.5 ppg and shooting 47% from the field in 2023-2024.
