Then you may want to venture to this Maryland beach, as the summer hotspot was recently recognized as one of the best beaches in the United States by Travel and Leisure.
As a result of such a shoutout, the popular destination now joins the ranks of other great beaches in California, Florida, and Hawaii in the magazine’s “25 Best Beaches in the USA” feature on April 5.
With its groomed shoreline and lively boardwalk, which gives the East Coast beach a “classic Americana vibe,” Ocean City Beach has 8 miles of white sand and features a 3-mile boardwalk that boasts amusement park rides, bike rentals, shops and treats to indulge in on those scorching hot days.
The beach also has an interesting line-up of activities, such as jet skiing, fishing and boating, and even a brewery, which is located right on the boardwalk.
