“I have watched the Olympics ever since I was five years old,” Zhang continued. “Being able to watch all these sports, watch Michael Phelps, watch Simone Biles, just all these incredible athletes compete for their country, compete for the red, white, and blue.
“To see how much honour and pride they bring to the country is honestly such a feeling that I would love to experience.”
The women’s Olympic golf competition at Paris 2024 gets underway on 7 August 2024 at Le Golf National, taking place over four rounds until 10 August 2024.
*As National Olympic Committees have the exclusive authority for the representation of their respective countries at the Olympic Games, athletes’ participation at the Paris Games depends on their NOC selecting them to represent their delegation at Paris 2024.
