That means they must defeat both Canada and Ireland to have any chance of progressing to the Super Eights whilst also hoping that USA slip up elsewhere.
The Maple Leafers, meanwhile, are in third place in Group A with two points in as many games.

When is the T20 Cricket World Cup?
The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup is back with its ninth edition in 2024, making it a historic event, as it takes place for the first time in the United States and the West Indies.
The tournament kicked off on June 1 with the co-hosts USA beating Canada at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas, Texas.
This year’s expanded T20 World Cup sees 20 teams competing for the first time in its 17-year history. The 20 sides have been split into four groups, with the top two then advancing to the Super 8 round.
The Super 8s comprises of two groups, with the top two reaching the semi-finals. The final match is set for June 29.Â
