The Associated Press has a story about how for some of the United States players, the match against India means something more because of their heritage.

Among the US players with Indian roots are Saurabh Netravalkar, the left-armed bowler the US will be leaning on as it looks for another upset in the tournament; and Nosthush Kenjige, who was born in Alabama but lived in India and returned to the States after his pursuit of a local cricket club in India fell short.

Netravalkar played for India’s U19 team in the World up in 2009-10. Now, he has the US one win away from reaching the Super Eight.
