Pegasus World Cup Invitational (G1), Gulfstream, 1 1/8 miles, 4-year-olds and up
National Treasure, who hasn’t won since the 2023 Preakness but came within a nose of a Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile victory, was made the 9-5 favorite on the morning line. The second choice is First Mission, who has a record of 5: 3-2-0 and lost by a nose last out in the Clark (G2) to Trademark, who also is entered here and was at 15-1. Hoist the Gold and Senor Buscador, 1-2 in the Cigar Mile (G2) last out, had morning-line odds of 12-1 and 20-1, respectively.
