It took two days, but five former Auburn players were taken in the 2024 NFL draft.
Nehemiah Pritchett kicked off the day by being taken in the 5th round of the NFL draft by the Seattle Seahawks. Seattle followed suit by taking fellow cornerback DJ James with a 6th-round pick. Jaylin Simpson, Justin Rogers, and Marcus Harris were also taken on day three of the NFL draft.
With this year’s draft, five more former players have made NFL rosters to bring Auburn’s total to 37. Only a few teams in the NFL are without a former Auburn player while several franchises boast several former Tigers. Carolina, Jacksonville, Seattle, and Tampa Bay lead the way with three former Auburn players on their respective rosters.
