Just last year LeBron told ESPN he is aiming to be on the court with his son, saying: “I need to be on the floor with my boy, I got to be on the floor with Bronny.”
The two-time Olympic gold medallist for Team USA added: “Either in the same uniform or a matchup against him […] I’m here already, I’m just waiting on him.”
The 39-year-old LeBron’s legacy is a tough act to follow for any prospect. Bronny’s father became the first NBA player to score 40,000 career points, and is widely considered one of the greatest players in the history of men’s basketball.
The NBA draft will take place on 26-27 June.
The basketball tournament at the Paris 2024 Olympics begins on 27 July, with the final on 11 August.
