In total, nine venues will be used including three in the US, who will make their debut at the World Cup.

Alongside stadiums in Florida and Texas, a new ground has been built in Long Island, New York.

The Nassau County International Cricket Stadium has been constructed as a temporary venue for the tournament.

It will host eight matches including India vs Pakistan on June 9.

Holding 34,000 fans, the stands will be removed after the event, leaving just a field.

A video shared to X less than three weeks ahead of the first match shows the stadium looking match-ready.

Roofless stands and floodlights surround the pitch, which is already set up with a boundary and creases.

The footage has excited fans about the prospect of top level cricket coming to the USA this summer.

His side face Scotland, Australia, Oman and Namibia in the group stage.
