2024 PGA Championship leaderboard: Live coverage, Tiger Woods score, golf scores today in Round 2 at Valhalla

Must read

The 2024 PGA Championship, so far, belongs to Xander Schauffele. The Olympic gold medalist set a tournament scoring record with his opening-round 62 to enter Friday holding a three-stroke lead on Tony Finau and Sahith Theegala at Valhalla Golf Club. Schauffele will need to keep his foot on the gas to stay ahead of a competitive chasing pack, including Rory McIlroy, who is only four shots back despite not having his best stuff off the tee across his first 18 holes.

World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler is right in the thick of it after a first-round 67, but a chaotic morning has thrown the tournament for a loop. In separate incidents, a pedestrian was struck and killed by a bus outside Valhalla, and Scheffler was arrested for disobeying a police officer only to be released shortly before his rescheduled tee time. Scheffler arrived at Valhalla, practiced and will continue in competition for the duration of the tournament.
